Client Requirement
In one of London’s largest wholesale markets lies the flower market. Having undergone a huge renovation and rebuild, a number of cold rooms and specialised office pods were required within the unit to successfully suit the specific, day-to-day needs of the market tenants.
Our Solution
Scandia attended the site alongside refrigeration companies, building planners, and other tradesmen to discuss the desired project outcome, specifications, and project timelines.
Using 80mm PIR panels, Scandia efficiently constructed three 4.2m x 3.2m x 2.5m high cold rooms, six 3.2m x 2.2m x 2.5m high office pods, and one 4.2m x 3.2m x 2.5m high office pod alongside other cold room works we were contracted to undertake. Despite strict project timelines due to an ever-looming opening date, all works were closely adhered to and remarkably finished earlier than the contractors’ targeted completion dates.
