Working alongside one of our M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) partners, Scandia was commissioned to provide a rapid-installation walk-in freezer for an upmarket country club to accommodate their growing membership and upcoming events.

Type of Cold Room: Walk-in Freezer

A compact walk-in freezer designed to fit tightly into a previously unused storeroom, maximising frozen storage capacity within a restricted footprint.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 1920mm x 2860mm x 2200mm

  • Insulation & Finish: 80mm PIR white food-safe laminate panels.

  • Doors: 680mm x 1840mm clear opening (c/o) sliding door on a Fermod 2000 series track.

  • Flooring: Insulated anti-slip aluminium flooring.

  • Shelving: 1500mm high, 4-tier, static free-standing wire grey powder-coated shelving.

  • Refrigeration: TeCool housed remote system.

Client Requirement

One of our M&E customers tends to the requirements of an upmarket country club with an ever-growing membership who required increased frozen storage space. With major events nearing, the works needed to be carried out as soon as possible.

Our Solution

We attended the site and worked closely with our customer regarding their client’s needs, successfully designing a walk-in freezer to fit tightly into a currently unused storeroom. Together, Scandia and our M&E partner provided a care-free package for the client, with our partner able to seamlessly take on all the electrical works required for the new store while we managed the rapid cold room installation.
