As part of a nationwide refit programme for a highly regarded holiday park company, Scandia aided in the design, supply, and installation of a bespoke outdoor dual-compartment cold room to serve as the main temperature-controlled storage for their East Lothian site's newly refitted kitchen.

An outdoor dual-compartment cold room designed to standard roll-out sizes, featuring a custom black/anthracite exterior finish to blend seamlessly into its surroundings at the rear of the property.

Insulation & Finish: 80mm PIR panels featuring a black/anthracite (RAL 7021) external finish and a white food-safe internal finish.
Doors: 2 x 800mm x 1900mm clear opening semi-rebate hinged doors.
Flooring: Reinforced insulated floors with bonded 9mm plywood and a 2mm anti-slip aluminium overlay.
Refrigeration: 2 x TeCool weatherproof integral refrigeration systems.
Lighting: IP65 rated LED PIR sensor lights.
Client Requirement
As part of a nationwide refit, a highly regarded holiday park company had a kitchen refit at their East Lothian site. As part of this kitchen refit, they required a dual-compartment cold room to serve as their main temperature-controlled storage.
Our Solution
Throughout discussions, we offered proposed options that would fit the standard sizes being rolled out across their other sites. This collaborative process with our customer resulted in an outdoor dual-compartment sited at the back of the kitchen area, which was purposefully finished in a black/anthracite colour to blend in with its surroundings.
We achieved this result through a well-thought-out design by our customer and a full understanding of the desired end product by our team – from the initial sale, through to production, and all the way to the final installation.
