A compact walk-in chiller bringing together the insulated room, fitted shelving, remote refrigeration and LED lighting in one package for a shopping centre restaurant.

Specifications

  • Project Type: Supply and installation of a walk-in chiller.
  • Room: 2780mm × 1560mm × 2200mm, 80mm PIR insulated panels, floorless construction with the building floor continuing into the chiller.
  • Door: Hinged insulated door with internal release and PVC strip curtains.
  • Shelving & Lighting: Four-tier wire shelving along the interior walls; LED lighting.
  • Refrigeration: Intarcon weatherproof external condensing unit on wall brackets, paired with a slimline internal evaporator.

Client Requirement

Kokoro needed organised chilled storage within a compact footprint at Cross Keys Shopping Centre, with the refrigeration equipment positioned to comply with the shopping centre’s clearance rules.

Our Solution

Specified at 2780mm × 1560mm × 2200mm, the chiller combined a compact room format with four-tier wire shelving, providing several levels of storage within the enclosure. The refrigeration package paired an Intarcon weatherproof external condensing unit with a slimline internal evaporator. The outdoor unit was mounted on wall brackets, keeping the condensing unit outside the room and clear of the floor below, adhering to the shopping centre’s clearance rules.
