Since our beginnings Scandia have been designing, manufacturing and installing insulated doors for all applications. Each door we make is completed with purpose to optimise performance in terms of insulation, durability, ease of use and aesthetics. Our dedicated production facility, machinery and skilled team enable us to have a responsive approach, being flexible on volumes, types and timescales. Available with a wide selection of door furniture options and hygienic finishes, these doors can be suited to any temperature-controlled application.

Hinged Doors
As standard suitable for temperatures from -25 to +40 degC. Our insulated hinged doors are fitted with a robust, anodised aluminium perimeter capping to add to the durability of the door. This can be optionally provided in a semi-rebate profile, or a slab face profile. These doors are available either fitted on an insulated panel with foamed in reinforced panel plates, or on a plywood food safe clad face frame, or on an aluminium clad frame, or as door blade only. As with all of our products, our hinged doors are available either exworks, delivered, or installed. Our door exworks and delivered only packages include manufacture drawings, detail and fixing kits.
Sliding Doors
As standard suitable for temperatures from -25 to +40 degC. Our insulated sliding doors are fitted with a robust, anodised aluminium perimeter capping to add to the durability of the door. For sliding doors this is provided as a slab face profile. Each door is equipped with the hard-wearing furniture of industry leading brand Fermod. These doors are available fitted on an insulated panel with foamed in reinforced panel plates to accept track fixings, or on a plywood food safe clad face frame, or on an aluminium clad frame, or as door blade only with track and associated ironmongery supplied separately. As with all of our products, our sliding doors are available either exworks, delivered, or installed. Our door exworks and delivered only packages include manufacture drawings, detail and fixing kits.
Amenity/Personnel Doors
As standard suitable for temperatures from +7 to +32 degC. Our semi-insulated doors are fitted with a robust, anodised aluminium perimeter capping to add to the durability of the door. Working alongside Castel stainless steel hinges the door is made to be flush-fit between the anodised aluminium u-frame and the door. sliding doors this is provided as a slab face profile. These doors are available fitted with the frame in an insulated panel, or as a door and aluminium u-frame package. As with all of our products, our personnel doors are available either exworks, delivered, or installed. Automatic Doors
For large doors, ease of access, and areas of essential temperature and/or hygiene control. Our automatic sliding doors are driven by industry leading Fermod 3-phase and 1-phase sliding door track motors, available with various devices such as push-button, radar sensors, pull-cords, induction loops and remote control. These doors are available fitted on an insulated panel with foamed in reinforced panel plates to accept track fixings, or on a plywood food safe clad face frame, or on an aluminium clad frame, or as door blade only with track and associated ironmongery supplied separately. As with all of our products, our auto doors are available either exworks, delivered, or installed. Our door exworks and delivered only packages include manufacture drawings, detail and fixing kits.
Roller Shutters
Customisable to suit temperatures from -25 to +40 degC For large areas, large openings, or where space for a door is limited. Our roller shutter doors range from manually operated to automatic operation either by push-button, radar sensors, pull-cords, induction loops and remote control. These roller doors can be manufactured to suit all temperatures, from freezer to ambient temperature. These doors are available with the necessary sized plywood food safe clad face frame, or on an aluminium clad frame, or the roller door and associated items supplied separately. As with all of our products, our roller doors are available either exworks, delivered, or installed. Our door exworks and delivered only packages include manufacture drawings, detail and fixing kits.
Flip/Flap & Crash Doors
As standard suitable for temperatures from +10 to +32 degC. For areas of fast traffic, busy environments and areas providing a hygienic physical barrier between areas. Our crash doors are available as single doors, double doors, and as thick PVC material doors. Our PVC crash doors are available in a variety of colours, different framework options to suit a range of applications and usage and sprung-loaded self-closing hinges.
Our flip-flap action doors are extremely durable and rigid swing products constructed from solid, dense materials and heavy-duty hinges to withstand the rigours of high traffic use.
